The Goat Barn Talk about alterations of a barn. We moved here partly because of the barn. Since Dani had a small past career in the horse industry, she thought she would one day have her own horses again. But as she rescued a Draft horse and a mule, she realized the safety of her small children was at stake and got rid of them. Now, she was left with the task of filling the barn with a more docile animal species. After long hours of research and visiting goat barns in VA, she chose Nigerian Dwarf Goats for their size and their demeanor. She thought she could never love an animal like she loved horses, but she was wrong. Then, she bought two rabbits and visited a few rabbit barns and the rest is history. Each barn is different and each breeder will tell you different ways and ideas about doing goats. As we have our own favorites below. We hope the following topics will help give you good ideas to mold/fold into your own barns. Please let us know if you have new ideas and want to share them, so I may add them to my web page.
